Description
We ask all guests to be aware and with these protocols for the safety and enjoyment of WinterLights for everyone.
1. Mask are mandatory for all guests indoors and outdoors.
2. Guest agree to practice all social distancing in the Gardens, maintaining a six-foot distance between you, others, and staff.
3. Guests who are feeling ill should postpone their visit accordingly.
4. Green Xs will greet you on the entrance walk to the Great Gates to assist in social distancing. Yellow Xs will direct your exit.
6. All scheduled events or activities in The Gardens are subject to change at any time.
7. Guests should arrive at the time on their ticket. Late arrivals will be admitted as capacity allows. Guests may enter the Gardens within 15 minutes of their allotted entry time. We will attempt to accommodate late arrivals and other orders.
8. No food and drink will be served at this event.
9. All tickets are non-refundable. In the event of inclement weather, check our website for closures. Guests may rebook tickets for another night.
10. Most walkways are marked for one-way traffic.
11. Guests may stay as long as they would like. (The average visit is an hour to and hour and half.)
12. Regrettably Santa will not be visiting The Gardens this year at WinterLights.
13. The restrooms at the front of Odom Hall will be available. These restrooms will be sprayed with disinfectant on a regular basis. The other restroom facilities will remain closed at this time, so please plan accordingly.
14. WinterLights is a walking experience. You can expect to walk about a mile and a half during your visit.

An illuminated winter wonderland awaits in the enchanted Elizabethan Gardens. Stroll garden paths alongside blooming camellias under a canopy of the stars for a magical holiday experience. Sponsored by Southern Bank and the Outer Banks Visitors Bureau, the radiant glow of the gardens, traditional holiday décor and fantastical displays are an Outer Banks holiday tradition. Festive trees grace Odom Hall. A crackling open-air fire warms the Great Lawn. Seasonal gift shop and plant sales coincide.
TICKETS: Adults $11, Youth (ages 6-17) $9, Child (5 and under) $6. Extended season passes available.
DATES: 6:00-9:00pm from Tuesdays to Sundays in December; Friday and Saturdays in January, November 28 thru January 16 (Closed on Dec 8,24,25,31 and Jan 1); Please visit website homepage on days with inclement weather to confirm event.
